In 2019 founder and camp organizer Leesa MacKensie became a burner in mind, body and spirit. One fortuitous evening as she and her friends were searching for a camp serving seafood, they learned that the state of Nevada health department banned the serving of shrimp on playa. Determined to get their shrimp on, an idea was born: locally harvested, ethically bred, fairy shrimp cocktail
